Services

Senior technical judgment for founders and teams — brought in on the decisions that are expensive to get wrong and hard to reverse later.

Software architecture

Designing systems that scale with your team, not against it. Choosing the right stack, data models, and service boundaries — and knowing when not to add complexity — so an early product stays fast to change and cheap to run.

AI & agentic systems

Practical guidance on building with LLMs and autonomous agents, from a first prototype to something reliable in production. Where agents earn their keep, where they don't, how work flows between them, and when a human needs to stay in the loop.

Technical due diligence

An independent read on a codebase, architecture, or engineering team — for founders sizing up a build, or investors ahead of a raise or acquisition. What's solid, what's risk, and what it will actually take to scale.

Scaling early-stage products

Turning a working MVP into something that holds up: performance, infrastructure, data, and the technical decisions that arrive with growth — without over-engineering for scale you don't have yet.

How engagements work

Scoped to the problem

Engagements are shaped around what you actually need — a focused review, an ongoing advisory relationship, or hands-on help through a specific decision. Work runs under a simple services agreement and a statement of work, so scope and expectations are clear from day one. I take on a small number of engagements at a time and I'm selective about fit — but a good problem will always get my attention.
